What This Really Is

This is not a yoga boot camp. It is a space for all levels, whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to a long-held practice with fresh attention and care, mindfully.

The invitation is simple. Be present. Breathe deeply. Move with intention. There is no pressure to perform, no Instagram poses, no certificates to collect.

For five days on Havelock Island, you will practice yoga, pranayama and meditation in the quiet of the morning & again as the day softens into evening, and spend the rest of your time doing whatever your body and soul actually wants — swimming, walking barefoot, staring at the ocean, or absolutely nothing.

Yoga Practice

Slow. Aligned. Intelligent. Rooted in Ashtanga principles — asana, breath, and the essential philosophy that makes yoga more than just stretching. You'll learn awareness, balance, effort without strain, and how to steady your mind.

The focus is on understanding how yoga actually works, at your own pace.

Meditation & Pranayama

Meditation: Grounded. Silent. Real. Pure presence, simply experienced.

Pranayam (Breathwork): Structured, safe, progressive. Learn how breath directly affects your nervous system, energy, and mental clarity.

Classical techniques that actually support wellbeing—steady, intentional, and effective.

1-on-1 Private Session with Aanish

A closed, confidential space. Bring personal truths, professional weight, emotional clutter, or questions from the sessions. Things you've never said out loud are welcome here.

A space held with care, where you can speak freely and be heard without agenda.


Meet Aanish — Your Teacher

Aanish brings together insights from years of dedicated personal practice in different yoga approaches, shaped by the alignment sensitivity of Iyengar-style work and the inner focus cultivated through long-term Isha Yoga practice.

He is a Yoga Alliance (USA) certified teacher with over a decade of practice, who has trained under senior Iyengar teacher Uday, developing a precise, alignment-based approach. He specializes in one-on-one therapeutic work — scoliosis, sciatica, spine issues, frozen shoulder, chronic conditions — making his guidance especially valuable if you need safe, intelligent, results-oriented yoga.

He's also been a committed Isha Yoga practitioner for more than ten years, bringing depth, discipline, and inner awareness to his teaching. His sessions blend technical accuracy with experiential depth — supporting physical healing, structural balance, and mental clarity.

Why Havelock

Havelock is one of the few places where nature still holds ground—pristine sand, turquoise waters, and tropical forests. This is not a manufactured retreat setting; it is a living ecosystem where the rhythms of nature aren't a backdrop—they're the practice itself.

The middle of the day is yours—kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling, nature walks, or simply resting on some of the world's finest beaches.


Daily Schedule

March 29 — Arrival

Check into Yerrata Resorts. Free day to settle in and explore. Optional evening restoration session.

March 30 – April 2 — Practice Days

6:00 – 8:30 AM Morning yoga session (followed by breakfast)
Midday Completely free. Activities independent/via resort. Schedule your 1-on-1 session with Aanish in advance.
6:00 – 7:30 PM Evening yoga session
After 7:30 PM Rest of the evening is yours

April 3 — Departure

Checkout. Ferry bookings should be arranged in advance (via resort if needed).
