SOUTH BUTTON ISLAND — HALF DAY (4 HOURS)
South Button is more than an island — it’s a kaleidoscope of life under the sea. You’ll snorkel among corals, drift in lagoons so clear you can see the seabed sparkle, and explore one of the most photogenic spots in the Andamans. Artemis offers a smoother, more relaxed ride with an indoor space to unwind after your swim.
As you approach, the water brightens dramatically — deep blue melting into impossible shades of turquoise. Expect glowing lagoon water, bright coral gardens, quiet coves near the island’s edges, untouched sandy pockets, and snorkelling spots so clear that sunlight scatters across the reef like glitter. Marine life comes alive in layers: darting reef fish, shimmering bait balls, flashes of parrotfish, and soft coral fans swaying below. Sky and sea reflect each other, sometimes blending into luminous pastels that shift with every minute. On rare occasions, mist and sunlight produce a faint rainbow arching low over the water.
South Button feels special because everything here is vibrant — the colours, the clarity, the reefs, and the sense of being in a natural aquarium open to the sky.
