Barren Island Volcano Experience (AC Boat - Artemis).

The sea turns deep blue as you approach India’s only active volcano. Jagged black cliffs rise from the water, still scarred by ancient eruptions. Around them, the ocean thrives — with corals and marine life flourishing over cooled lava flows. Artemis makes this long voyage more comfortable, being the only AC cabin boat in the Andamans.
You move across deep sapphire water where the horizon feels impossibly wide, and colours shift as the island begins to take shape — dark cliffs, glowing sea mist, and sudden bursts of turquoise where reef shelves appear beneath the surface. Expect glowing lagoons, vivid coral arcs, quiet coves carved by ancient lava, untouched sandy edges, and bursts of marine life moving through crystal-clear water. Light dances across reef patches, the sky changes from silver to blue to gold, and on some days, sea spray meets sunlight just right to form a soft rainbow against the volcanic slope. The contrast of black rock, blue sea, and radiant sky feels almost otherworldly.
